Oakville September Update

Oakville real estate board has reported on the month of September 2014.  In September the average sale price of a home was $814,870, the month before average was $776,559. That average was mostly driven higher by more Detached homes being sold.  In September there were 133 Detached Homes sold where in August there were only 120.  The median sale price in September was $663,750. 

Number of Residential Sales 

Compared to 2013 the number of residential sales dropped to 200 from 250 same time last year.

The average sale price in September 2014 has a healthy increase to just above $800,000 where same time last year we were just below $700,000. 

The Median sale price for the month of September compared to 2013 has had the same effect with a healthy increase to above $650,000 where we were around $575,000 the year before.
